His inexplicit stories will then bleed into my imagination, because of course they will. When raised scattered between state lines, and horrified in all directions, this life becomes hilariously regular. Every game played is war-filled, giant voice alerts every Wednesday are mocked, and nuclear drills are spent hushing laughter from friends in the bunker under the school, pretending that they are real to find some sort of meaning in this life that we had no choice in. I’ve gradually attempted to dilute this life from my identity for years, however, if i’d been successful, I’d be anything but a person.”
